Holybro

Holybro X500 V2 Kit

Almost-ready-to-fly carbon quadcopter frame with motors and ESCs pre-installed. Built for Pixhawk and companion computers.

Strengths

  • No soldering needed for the power system
  • Designed around Pixhawk and companion computers
  • Widely used, so PX4 and ArduPilot have ready configurations

Trade-offs

  • Frame kit only. Flight controller, GPS, radio and battery are extra
  • Holybro also sells a full development kit if you want everything in one box

The X500 V2 is the frame most PX4 tutorials assume you have. Motors and ESCs come pre-installed and the power distribution board uses plug-in connectors, so the build is assembly rather than soldering.

You still need a flight controller (the Pixhawk 6X is the natural pair), a GPS module, an RC receiver or telemetry radio, and a battery. If that list feels long, Holybro’s full development kit bundles them.
