About 3DFaber

Faber is Latin for a maker or craftsman. 3DFaber is a guide to the machines and parts that makers actually use: 3D printers, laser cutters, desktop CNC, microcontrollers and the open-source drone ecosystem.

How the recommendations work

Every product page lists the specs that matter, what the product is good at, and what it's bad at. Specs and list prices are checked against the manufacturer's own product page, and each page shows the date it was checked. When we can't confirm a price, we show a price range instead of guessing.

We say plainly when we haven't used a product ourselves. Our picks draw on published specifications, maker documentation and long-running community experience, and we'll mark hands-on reviews clearly as we add them.
